the Lord & I

My mind is literally spinning in anticipation for my single release this Friday.

This whole journey with music is something I discussed over and over with the Lord, much so due to my fear of answering His call and doing it. I’ve been in the secular music industry before and left totally disheartened for a while. I' honestly never thought I'‘d step infront of a mic again, let alone for the Lord.

But fear isn’t of the Lord. And as His child, my disobedience didn’t last long.

As I’m working on editing the music video for “Holy Ghost”, and as I mill through footage, I keep 1 goal in mind - “Does this glorify God?”. So as you can imagine, there’s a lot of cutting and editing out things that may distract from the message.

I’ve initially approached the visuals from a very simplistic and almost “bare” perspective as to allow the music to speak rather than the image. A simple background and a blue gown, no shoes, and a lone dove. All this to constantly remind us, as the song “Holy Ghost” does, is that even in the darkest of moments God, His spirit, is ALWAYS there. To hold you, to comfort you, to cover you, and bring joy.
